Fear

Fear is a natural emotion, but it can sometimes hold us back from experiencing the fullness of life God intends for us. The Bible reminds us that we are not to live in fear, for God is our protector and source of strength.

Key Scriptures:

  • 2 Timothy 1:7 (NIV): "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind."

  • Isaiah 41:10 (NIV): "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

  • Psalm 34:4 (NIV): "I sought the Lord, and He answered me; He delivered me from all my fears."

When fear begins to take hold, remember that God is always by your side. He desires to replace your fear with His peace. In moments of doubt, turn to Him in prayer and let His love cast out your fears.
